Car Mechanics

Say you had a broken car, and you have been going in between two large car repair chains to get it fixed for several years. We'll name these places Rob's Mechanics and Doug's Fix-it Shop...

The advertising between the companies gets quite heated and the media hardly ever talks about the other repair place. Rob's Mechanics offers a reduced price and Doug's Fix-it Shop offers free oil changes. But they really never fixed the problem and the problem is getting worse.

You hear about third repair shop called Larry's Repair. Not too many people go to them, but they get the job done and don't waste their money on advertising. It seems that both Rob's Mechanics and Doug's Fix-it Shop don't want people to know about Larry's Repair.

First, why would you take your car to these two shops since they can never fix the problem? Why wouldn't you look at Larry's Repair?

Now replace Rob's Mechanics with the Republicans and Doug's Fix-it Shop with the Democrats. What have they really fixed or accomplished in the past few decades?

Shouldn't we try the Libertarians?
